Take CREFC’s Sustainability Survey

CREFC’s Sustainability Initiative (SI) wants to hear from you and your voice can be heard through our 2024 Sustainability Survey. These surveys continue to provide critically important feedback as we identify membership’s key sustainability perspectives and goals and prioritize the SI’s future focus areas.
We appreciate your taking the time to assist us. Each member who completes our survey by Friday, March 29th will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a free registration to CREFC’s June Conference.
The first 10 respondents also will receive a $50 Amazon gift card.
Launched in early 2021, CREFC’s SI focuses on the intersection between climate risk and CRE finance. The SI has over 150 members and is composed of three subcommittees.
- Education Subcommittee: Hosts presentations on climate science, property resiliency, and financial topics such as existing disclosure frameworks, insurance issues, and green financing. See here for previous and upcoming presentations or webinars.
- Transparency Subcommittee: Identifying, for eventual inclusion into the Investor Reporting Package™, climate data that is both attainable and relevant for market participants. Also developing related Best Practices on disclosure.
- Advocacy Subcommittee: Monitoring and engaging on relevant legislative and regulatory developments, including the Securities and Exchange Commission’s climate disclosure framework, state-level disclosure requirements, and developments in the European Union. We also share information and coordinate advocacy with other trade organizations and their sustainability efforts.
