CRE Urban Market Challenges — Washington DC and Beyond
This session will explore the current challenges confronting the urban commercial real estate markets across the county with an additional focus on our Nation’s capital. Join us for an enlightening conversation with the former longtime Mayor of Washington DC—Anthony Williams—who now serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Federal City Council. Highly regarded by the urban policy community and eminent historians for his turnaround of the District of Columbia, we will get his thoughts on many of the challenges facing our urban communities today—including underutilized office buildings, the need for more affordable housing and future transportation needs and how to access public and private capital to pay for the solutions to such challenges.
