LIBOR’s end in the U.S. is set for June 30, 2023 for Legacy LIBOR transactions. Financial institutions regulated by the banking agencies are being strongly advised not to write new LIBOR loans after year-end 2021.. As LIBOR’s end nears, market participants must prepare now for a transition that will impact approximately $10 trillion in floating-rate loans and securities.
