Bio
David McCarthy is Managing Director, Head of Legislative Affairs at CREFC and supports the overall CREFC government relations effort by advising and supporting CREFC’s legislative and regulatory advocacy with policy analysis and strategy. David continues to represent the commercial and multifamily real estate industry before Congress and regulators, in addition to informing CREFC members on the latest developments.
Prior to joining CREFC, David was an Assistant Vice President in the Regulatory Affairs department at U.S. Bank in DC. David grew up in rural Southwest Minnesota and graduated from Hamline University in St. Paul. He is a graduate of George Mason University School of Law.
