Richard (Rick) Jones is a principal in Jackstay Ventures LLC. Previously, Rick had been a partner at Dechert LLP, where he founded and for many years ran Dechert’s Finance and Real Estate practice (FRE). Rick focuses attention on mortgage finance and securitization where he has worked with investment banks, money center banks, insurance companies, investment advisors and other participants in the CRE capital markets. Rick is a past president of the CRE Finance Council, Chair of the CREFC Policy Committee and Co-Chair of the CREFC PAC and a current board member. He writes Crunched Credit, a regular commentary on markets, regulation and policy.
