Opportunity to learn from and network with top industry professionals has helped me learn more about CMBS and the issues impacting our industry. This has helped me more effectively build an Agency and Non-Agency CMBS portfolio.
Any tips or advice for new members?
Volunteer and get involved since you always learn something new and have the opportunity to connect with some great people in our industry.
Who/what inspires you?
My family inspires me to work hard and to help others in my profession.
What has been your biggest professional achievement?
Balancing being part of the CREFC, CFA, having a full-time job at Webster Bank, being an Adjunct Professor teaching three classes annually at UCONN and being a dad and overall spending time with my friends and family.
What career advice do you live by? Who gave it to you?
Reputation is key. And, what goes around comes around. If you help others, you are much more likely to receive help when you need it, and everyone does at some point in their career and lives.
