The Full Spectrum: The State of the CRE Debt Capital Markets

Commercial real estate fundamentals remain sound with a healthy lending market and record amounts of dry powder. However, with growth slowing in the U.S. and around the world, will we see – or have we already seen – cracks beginning to emerge in CRE? This event will explore the current landscape of the CRE debt capital markets with topics, including:

GSE Reform. FHFA guidelines, prospect for GSE reform and state of current Agency CMBS Market
CMBS Issuance. While CMBS issuance this year will be slightly ahead of last year, what does the future hold for CMBS in the face of other lender types increasing their market share?
Relative Value. Where does CMBS fall in the relative value spectrum of the fixed income markets?
Performance. Delinquency rates and episodic defaults, are rating agencies or special servicers more (or less) concerned than prior years?
Macro. Will the ongoing trade war spill over into real estate? How strong are the long term fundamentals in real estate lending and what trends are new in 2019?
