Leading Affordable Housing Through Uncertainty: A Candid Conversation
Join us for a candid conversation about leadership in affordable housing during uncertain economic and political times. Drawing on experience leading a major urban market, the discussion will explore how cities can leverage public-private partnerships, innovative financing strategies, and data-driven policy decisions to expand and preserve affordable and workforce housing—even amid budgetary challenges.

Topics may include comprehensive planning amendments, housing initiatives in downtown areas, recent rental reforms, historic investments in housing production trust funds, and more.

Speakers to be announced.

Navigating the New Policy Landscape
This session will feature an interactive discussion focused on federal housing policy shifts, the impact of the new bank capital proposals on bank mortgage lending, and strategies for navigating the current administration. Our expert panelists will examine how higher capital requirements could influence credit availability, pricing, and underwriting for single-family and multifamily mortgages, and will share forward-thinking insights on understanding recent HUD budget changes and how evolving HUD priorities may affect project timelines, grant competition, and the availability of both funding and bank debt.
