The CREFC Women’s Network Community Outreach Committee is proud to partner with Coalition for the Homeless to support their First Step Job Training Program – a transformative initiative that helps low-income and homeless women in NYC gain the skills, experience, and confidence needed to secure living-wage jobs.

First Step Program Corporate Day

The CREFC Women’s Network Community Outreach Committee is proud to partner with Coalition for the Homeless to support their First Step Job Training Program – a transformative initiative that helps low-income and homeless women in NYC gain the skills, experience, and confidence needed to secure living-wage jobs.

The First Step Job Training Program provides participants with essential office and professional skills through an innovative 14-week curriculum, including computer training, job readiness workshops, mentoring, job placement assistance, and post-graduate support.

Join us for a virtual Corporate Day, where CREFC Members can make a direct impact by volunteering as mentors to provide:

Resume Review – Help candidates refine their resumes to highlight their skills and experience
Mock Interviews – Conduct practice interviews and offer valuable feedback to build confidence and job readiness

This is a meaningful opportunity to give back, support women on their path to financial independence, and make a difference in our local community.
