Virtual Volunteer Opportunity: CREFC Women's Network - First Step Program Corporate Day The CREFC Women’s Network Community Outreach Committee will be working with Coalition for the Homeless to partner with their First Step Job Training Program that assists low income and/or homeless women in NYC with professional job training skills and workplace opportunities. The First Step Job Training Program provides candidates with critical office skills and professional training needed to achieve financial independence through an innovative 14-week curriculum which includes: computer and job skills training, an unpaid internship with a private company or nonprofit organization, mentoring, job placement assistance and post-graduate support. The First Step Job Training Program works with companies to host a Corporate Day that consists of mentoring, resume building and practice interview sessions for its students. Please note that space is limited and sign up doesn’t guarantee participation on the event.
