Fall 2025 “Big Ideas” Course

This course will explore multi family development trends starting with ground-up development challenges in today’s volatile environment. The course will provide a holistic overview of the full lifecycle of projects and begin with a discussion on development team assemblage followed by an in-depth analysis on exploring how to navigate and leverage economic incentives, housing affordability, sustainability, zoning, brownfield development, and many more. The course will examine new building techniques and materials to improve building performance and sustainability. Furthermore, this course will explore how developers are rethinking space amenitization and programming to provide for an elevated experience level across asset classes.  Like other asset classes, multi family real estate is evolving based on resident demand and project success requires a more integrated approach.
