Destigmatizing Mental Health in the Workplace
In support of Mental Health Awareness Month, the CRE Finance Council is facilitating a webinar to address destigmatizing mental health in the workplace. Millions of people in the U.S. are affected by mental health conditions each year and it’s important to know that there’s no shame in seeking support.
During this program, Dr. Kate Kelley will cover and answer attendee questions aligned with the following:
- Mental health is equally important as physical health – taking the stigma away from stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions.
- Current events and how they are impacting your mental health (work, COVID, geopolitical, etc.)
- Anxiety and adjusting to the new “normal" post-COVID (return to office, hybrid format, separation anxiety)
- How do you define work/life balance?
- Early signs one should be on the lookout for – what are the indications that you or a colleague may need to proactively address their mental health?
- Early intervention is the best intervention – being in touch with how you're feeling and addressing it to get the help you need (coping skills, support groups, therapy, etc.)
