Our panel will discuss the recent developments in distressed commercial real estate financing and how lenders are dealing with distressed loans. 

Discussion topics will include:

  • Fundamentals of pre-negotiation and forbearance agreements
  • Loan modifications, short sales, hope notes and consensual arrangements 
  • Managing relationships among mortgage and mezzanine lenders, and related intercreditor considerations
  • Leveraging guaranties and tender mechanics
  • Addressing unique issues arising in troubled construction loans
