Shamiya Lin is a senior at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a B.S. in Informatics with a concentration in Human-Centered Data Science and a minor in Real Estate. She has experience across acquisitions, asset management, and investment research through roles with Clarion Partners, MiraclePlus, and NewOaks AI. Shamiya has participated in multiple competitive real estate fellowships with Project Destined, gaining exposure to asset classes including industrial, affordable housing, senior living, and master-planned communities. At UT, she serves as a research assistant studying institutional ownership in housing markets, applying Python and advanced data science methods to evaluate investment impacts on pricing and supply. She aspires to build a career in commercial real estate finance with a focus on acquisitions, credit, and structured investments.
