This introductory course will cover basic concepts within Commercial Real Estate. It will kick off with an introduction to Commercial Real Estate and then dive into career options within it. Technology and ESG in CRE will be reviewed. Expert faculty will dive into financial concepts (such as value, time value of money and valuation terminology) as well as leases. Income and expenses will be discussed, as well as an overview on loan underwriting and valuation. Lastly, faculty will review financing and leverage. As CREFC's most introductory course this program is perfect for students and those in the very beginning of their careers.
