Industry Leader Perspectives:
Previous Downturns and Post-COVID-19 Predictions
Industry leaders will provide their unique perspectives on working through previous economic downturns that include the Resolution Trust Corp “RTC” (early 90s), Asian Financial Crisis (Late 97-99), Dot-Com Bubble/post-911 (2000-2001), and of course, most recently, the Great Financial Crisis (2007-2009).
The webinar will have 2 main themes—one that covers what the audience as Young Professionals (who may have never worked in a downturn or recession before) should know and should be doing, and secondly what each speaker predicts will be outcomes based on the current COVID-19 Pandemic.
Topics this webinar will address:
- How to make an impact in your current role (for those who are employed) i.e. what you should be focused on right now
- How to find opportunities (for those who get displaced) i.e. consulting roles etc.
- Predictions on how the market will evolve based on lessons learned from this pandemic (Rise of e-notaries, pandemic insurance similar to terrorism insurance after 9/11, rewriting of Force Majeure provisions)
