Addressing Historically Large Racial Gaps in Property Owners

Addressing Historically Large Racial Gaps in Property Owners
Join us on Wednesday, February 16th, for a webinar hosted by CREFC's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. This presentation will highlight substantial racial gaps in property ownership in the United States, both in terms of land ownership and single-family homes, gaps that unfortunately are larger today than they were 50 years ago. The presentation will review some of the major legal sources of involuntary property loss within communities of color. It will conclude with a survey of some legal reforms and policy solutions that have been designed to narrow the racial property ownership gaps.
