Join the Young Professionals Network for a panel focused on educating CRE finance professionals on an often-overlooked sector of the industry, construction. Construction is a sizeable component of the US GDP and impacts every segment of CRE, including credit, equity investments, and the public markets. This program will have several speakers across a variety of specialties including: construction management, consulting, in-house development, and owners’ representative roles.
Topics of discussion for the panel include:
- The life cycle of a construction deal, including a case study on multifamily construction,
- Environmental, Social, and Governance impact,
- Costs of construction – pre- and post-pandemic,
- Cost overrun mitigation strategies,
- Repurposing of office, and
- Construction risk(s) to various industry professions.
