What are the benefits of joining CREFC?

 CREFC member firms and their employees receive a host of benefits, including discounts at events and conference, access to our document resource center, the ability to participate in advocacy efforts to regulators and legislators, networking with other professionals, continuing education opportunities, and access to specialty programs like our Women’s Network, Young Professionals Program, and our mentorship program.

Who is a CREFC Member?

Our members are companies and individuals of companies from all sectors of the industry — portfolio and securitization lenders, loan and bond investors, private equity firms, loan servicers, rating agencies and other third-party market participants.

Which companies are members of CREFC? Is my firm a member?

Can non-members participate in CREFC?

Non-members in the industry are welcome to join CREFC events and conferences. Membership provides a valuable discount on events, as well as many other benefits.

What are key ways CREFC members participate in the association?

In addition to taking advantage of the many educational and networking opportunities in CREFC, members participate in and vote on industry initiatives, take part in committee-level processes, debate the issues, lobby in front of government committees and agencies, help develop industry standards and best practices, and influence the positions taken by CREFC.

What is the right membership level for my firm?

Membership level is determined by the amount of business your firm does in the industry. Visit our Membership Levels page to determine the right level for your firm.

How can I get other employees in my firm to register?

Once your company becomes a member of CREFC, each employee should create their individual account to gain access to member benefits. Send your member firm employees to our Create Your Account page to register.

When are membership dues paid?

CREFC membership is based upon a calendar year. For current CREFC members, renewal notices are sent in October for the following calendar year and are expected to be paid by year-end. For new members who join after the first quarter of the year, dues payments will be prorated on a per-month basis. Membership Terms & Conditions.
