CREFC’s University Partners Program

CREFC is dedicated to fostering the next generation of commercial real estate (CRE) leaders by providing students across the country with education, resources, and networking opportunities. This University Partnership Program will provide students with access to real-world experiences, professional connections, and insights into the industry, enhancing their academic journey and career prospects.

Please Note: The application for the CREFC University Partners Program is to be completed at the university level and not by individual students.

Benefits of Partnership

• Participating universities are offered unlimited complimentary academic memberships (available to any student/Professor who meets the academic membership requirements). Students are then given highly discounted access to industry conferences and events and resources, as well as complimentary access to a variety of types of webinars.
o These events and programs facilitate students to stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes.
o Students benefit from insights from industry leaders and experts in commercial real estate finance before entering the workforce, making them more competitive candidates.
• Access to a CREFC Concierge who will assist students with any issues creating their account, getting discounted pricing to events and resources, and receiving a monthly email with upcoming events and programs.
• Complimentary courses held exclusively for students at Partnered Universities.
• Complimentary access to virtual registration for all of CREFC’s Conferences.
• Complimentary access to CREFC’s virtual Young Professionals and Educational Programs (some exceptions may apply).
• CREFC will work alongside university faculty/staff to arrange CREFC Members to speak (virtually or in-person) to their students on an annual basis.
• Students will expand their networks through CREFC’s extensive membership network, building relationships that can lead to internships or job opportunities.
• Access to CREFC’s Career Center which will also provide students with a complimentary resume critique.
• Access to the latest industry news and research.

APPLY TO PROGRAM

Becoming a University Partner:

• CREFC is piloting this program for the Spring 2025 semester. All benefits will run through August 31st.
• Within 3 business days of submitting your application you will be sent an invoice for $250.*
• Once that invoice has been processed your Partnership will be live and you’ll be added to our list of Partners on this page.
• For your students and Professors to receive the benefits of this program they will need to submit a complimentary academic membership application. **

*Introductory pricing for this pilot program. The price will increase to $500/academic year starting in the fall of 2025.
