Bio
Soniya Patel is the Head of US CRE origination for UK pension insurance specialist, Rothesay. Based in New York, she leads the origination of commercial mortgages across all property types throughout the United States.
Soniya brings over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate finance and has worked in both the UK and the US. Prior to joining Rothesay in 2016, she was a Director at S&P rating European CMBS (London office). Soniya began her career at PGIM on the large loan origination team.
Mrs. Patel holds a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Psychology from Northwestern University.
