Bio
Samantha Rotchford is a Managing Director on the Real Estate Credit team at BDT & MSD Partners, where she helps lead the strategy, investments, and operations of the team. She joined the firm in 2020 from Starwood Property Trust, where she was a Senior Vice President focused on real estate credit originations. Prior to that, she was a Financial Analyst at Savills. Samantha is the Chairwoman-Elect of the Alternative Lenders and High Yield Investors forum for the CRE Finance Council (CREFC). Additionally, she co-runs the Women’s Network at BDT & MSD and is on the Leadership Council for Special Olympics New York. Samantha earned a B.S. in Finance with a Minor in Mathematics from Fairfield University.
