Bio
Angela Norris Johnson is Head of Special Servicing at K-Star Asset Management LLC, the investment services platform supporting KKR’s Real Estate Credit business. At K-Star, Ms. Johnson leads a team of professionals who handle underwriting, oversight and management of over $51 billion of CMBS, SASB and CRE-CLO assets. In addition to directing the team’s distressed asset resolutions, performing loan consents, surveillance, reporting and underwriting functions, she sets policies and procedures for the business line, oversees the implementation of asset management and reporting technology, and manages stakeholder and vendor relationships.
Prior to joining K-Star, Ms. Johnson held Portfolio Management and Asset Management roles at Argentic Services Company, C-III Asset Management LLC and ORIX Real Estate Capital Markets. She began her career at BEI Asset Management, where she worked in consulting support, business development, loan administration and asset management.
Ms. Johnson holds a BBA from Southern Methodist University with a Marketing concentration.
