Ms. Wendy Pei joined Ellington Management Group in 2009 as Managing Director, Head of Commercial Real Estate Credit. She oversees the credit evaluation and underwriting of Conduit B-pieces and is responsible for trading CMBS (Conduit, CRE CLO, SASB) and CMBS derivatives. Prior to Ellington, Ms. Pei spent 8 years at Lehman Brothers as Vice President and CMBS Credit Analyst on the trading desk, where she focused on modeling, credit analysis, and surveillance of CMBS, CRE CDOs, and derivatives (CMBX and single-name CDS). She played a key role in developing the firm’s CMBS credit model. Ms. Pei is incoming Chair of the Investment Grade Forum and previously served as Chair of the B-Piece Buyer Forum. She holds a B.A. in Economics from New York University.
