Carolina Herrera is the Director of Land Operations of the SE Florida Division of Lennar Homes. As the, Director of Land Operations, Ms. Herrera covers a territory that spans from Key West up to Broward County, and has worked on the acquisition of over 12,000 homesites in the last 3 years. Her role in Lennar has not been limited to land acquisition and entitlements. Ms. Herrera, has had great involvement in property management in her previous role as Vice President of Property Management, the settlement of Division legal matters and the negotiation of the Division’s contracts. Having started as a temporary employee in the construction department, and ambitiously working her way up through positions such as project manager and property manager, Ms. Herrera represents the spirit of Lennar and its endless possibilities for growth to those who are determined to achieve it. In her land operations role she has led to the successful acquisition of parcels, bank notes and municipal bonds for Lennar’s growth in the South East Region. Ms. Herrera is the President of the Builders Association of South Florida, the strongest real-estate industry association in SE Florida. She was also a Big Sister with the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program which has provided support and leadership to thousands of young boys and girls. In 2010 Carolina was presented with the President’s Award at the BASF and coordinated a major project between BASF, Comcast, Lennar and other industry leader in an effort to provide volunteer assistance to the “His House” organization for children. She continues to drive support to charitable organizations and is passionate about industry involvement in the community. Ms. Herrera has received other recognitions such us South Florida Business Journal 40 under 40, the Miami Today achiever profile, among others.
