Kevin O’Shea is a partner in the New York office of Milbank and the Practice Group Leader of the firm’s Real Estate Group.

Primary Focus & Experience:
Mr. O’Shea has extensive experience in commercial real estate finance, acquisitions through joint ventures, REIT and fund structures, workouts, and real estate fund investment. Mr. O’Shea specializes in large mortgage loans, structured finance, securitization, mezzanine financing, preferred equity, NPL purchase and sales, and complex equity investments for private equity funds, investment banks, asset managers, financial institutions and REITs. Since The John Hancock Tower transaction in 2009, he has become one of the leading experts in UCC foreclosures and the execution of loan-to-own strategies for opportunistic investors. Mr. O’Shea’s practice also includes inbound debt and equity transactions involving European and Asian investment in US real estate.
