Richard Razza, CCIM, CFA, is a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at Webster Financial, a $26B commercial bank headquartered in Waterbury, CT. He is responsible for managing the bank’s $2.0B Agency and Non-Agency CMBS portfolios that include fixed and floating rate securities along with CRE CLO’s. Rich is also responsible for the bank’s $600MM Municipal Bond portfolio. Rich began his career in commercial real-estate at CIGNA in 1999 as a Structured Products Trading Assistant and then became an Analyst responsible for underwriting large commercial real estate loans for securitization. In 2006, Rich became a buy-side CMBS portfolio manager working as an Assistant Vice President at Hartford Investment Management Company, where he helped manage a CMBS portfolio totaling $18.0B at its peak. In 2009, Rich joined Webster Financial and since that time has grown the bank’s CMBS portfolio from $100MM to over $2.0B. He holds the Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and holds an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Connecticut.
