David Spotts is an Executive Vice President and head of Midland Loan Services. Mr. Spotts is directly responsible for the day-to-day activities for Midland’s business including setting strategic goals, strengthening Midland’s industry-leading operational capabilities, and developing competitive products and services that lead to best-in-class client and borrower experience. David joined Midland in 1993 as a Senior Asset Manager for a distressed debt portfolio acquired from the Resolution Trust Corporation. He spent 11 years as a Regional Director of PNC’s CMBS conduit lending program, followed by five years as a Senior Manager within PNC’s Asset Resolution Team, where he managed commercial workouts and participated in diligence efforts that assessed and valued the commercial loan portfolios of National City and RBC Bank. In 2013, David transitioned to Midland Loan Services as the head of the Real Estate Solutions group responsible for the Special Servicing, Performing Asset Management, and Construction Loan Administration teams.
