Greg is Senior Vice President, Real Estate Finance of ING Investment Management, Americas Region. Greg is responsible for the areas of new investment origination, portfolio management, legal services, mortgage loan servicing, and risk management for real estate finance related assets throughout the U.S., Canada, and Latin America for ING’s Insurance Companies. Real Estate Finance assets under management currently total approximately $11 billion with historical annual investments of $2.5 billion. In addition to whole loans, Greg helps oversee the management of the $8 billion CMBS portfolio.
Other responsibilities include being a member of the credit committee for the general account and chairman of the CMBS Steering Committee which has management oversight of the CMBS block of business.
Greg has been with ING Investment Management for 15 years. Prior roles at ING Investment Management include: Head of Commercial Loan Origination, where he was responsible for pricing and underwriting guidelines of whole loan assets; Production Team Leader for the West Coast; Territory Manager for the East Coast and analyst. He was hired at ING as an asset manager where he oversaw the REO portfolio.
Before joining ING Investment Management, he was a commercial real estate appraiser in the state of Florida. Greg graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Real Estate; Kennesaw State University with a MBA in Finance and University of Georgia with an Executive MBA. Greg also attended ING Business School and The Center for Creative Leadership.
