Mr. Fastov is the Managing Member of Sage Terrace Advisors. His business practice focuses on raising capital for institutional clients including for US and European based real estate projects and investing platforms. Formerly, as co-head of Credit Suisse’s Real Estate Finance and Securitization Group, he helped build-out a fully functioning CMBS lending platform positioned for market leadership. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, he founded Oasis Real Estate Partners, an advisor to foreign and domestic financial institutions, private equity funds and other significant real estate credit market participants. Since its founding, Oasis advised investors and creditors in some of the largest corporate workouts. From 1992 to 2009, Mr. Fastov was with Goldman Sachs, ultimately as co-head of its commercial real estate lending business, a market leader in CMBS and balance sheet lending. He was active during the early 1990s acquiring and financing sub-performing and non-performing loan pools sold by the RTC and private financial institutions. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Mr. Fastov spent 10 years at Moody's Investors Service where he established the CMBS group and developed Moody's CMBS ratings criteria.
