Natural Catastrophe Insurance

The U.S. government is considering proposals to expand its role into insurance related programs, which would include plans at the federal level for crop, flood, terrorism and natural catastrophe-type plans. The National Catastrophe Plan is expected to be rolled-out in October. Below are the items that the Council finds to be of importance to market participants regarding the NCIP program:
