This committee works together to ensure  that the UK and other European jurisdictions are educated and address “hot” industry issues as well as providing networking opportunities for market participants.

German Committee

Formed with the purpose of creating a platform to discuss issues relating to the sale securitisation of loans secured by German properties.  This committee enables participants to come together to discuss topics related to commercial real estate capital market in Germany.

This committee provides loan and security investors in CRE an opportunity to engage in an open dialogue about topics related to commercial real estate securitisations.  Limited to investors only, the committee is designed to raise awareness and encourage participation and discussion about the marketplace products in Europe.

European Investor Reporting Package (E-IRP) Committee

Commercial Real Estate Finance Council European Investor Reporting Package™ (CMSA E-IRP) - UK was launched in October 2005.  The aim of the package is to increase transparency through consistent, reliable information and support growth and liquidity in the secondary markets throughout Europe. The E-IRP provides a standard set of data files and reports that enable fast, cheap and accurate transfer of information about a CMBS/Real Estate transaction between all industry participants.  An interest group has been created to repsond to industry questions and comments, the group welcome feedback in relation to the E-IRP.  Version II to be released shortly.

Regulatory Committee

The purpose of this committee is to address specific regulatory and legislative issues that affect the industry.  In addition, the committee works with a consortium of trade groups, has an ongoing dialogue with the European Regulators as to possible ways to improve transparency in the marketplace and to identify ways to create liquidity.  the committee will focus on UK and European legislation and regulation such as credit rating agency reform measures, capital requirement directives (CRD II, III and IV), Basel II and III and other legislation or consultation requests published by various market stakeholders.
