Portfolio Lenders Forum

The Portfolio Lenders Forum provides an opportunity to interact and address the issues particular to this segment of the marketplace. This Forum, which is composed of insurance companies, pension funds, commercial banks, mortgage REITs, and other portfolio lenders, will, among many issues, examine the effect of regulatory reform on this sector. The Forum meets at least twice-a-year.

The Chair of the Portfolio Lenders Forum serves on the Board of Governors and the Chair and Chair-elect both serve on CRE Finance Council’s Policy Committee and help set the CRE Finance Council’s policy positions. At the conclusion of the first year of these CRE Finance Council Forums, the Forum Leadership Team in place will solicit nominations for a new Chair-elect from the Forum members, select the new leader, have the individual affirmed by Forum members and have this individual ratified by the full CRE Finance Council Board. The Chair will continue to serve for one additional year as Past Chair.
